Fluent in English and Ga, I am passionate about leadership, continuous learning, and improving educational outcomes for every learner.

An experienced educator with a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science and over 15 years of teaching experience. I specialize in teaching Science subjects and Mathematics across different academic levels. My approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts and guiding students toward strong academic performance. Hi, my name is Folayemi Ogundein. I am a UK-trained and qualified primary school teacher with over a decade of experience working with children across a range of roles within the UK education system. Supporting children is not just my profession—it is something I am deeply passionate about. From my experience, and supported by research, children do their best learning when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. At Mants Education, relationships come first. Since 2017, I have worked with Basic and Junior High School learners, and I later expanded into home tuition, specializing in Biology, Integrated Science, and Mathematics, including GCSE preparation. Alongside teaching, I work as a Quality Manager in the food processing industry, which strengthens my analytical and organizational approach to tutoring. I hold an MPhil in Food Science with a strong background in Biochemistry. I teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English across JHS, SHS, IGCSE, and O-Level. Over the years, I have taught Science, Mathematics, and English Language, supporting learners across different levels with patience and clarity. In addition to my teaching career, I have advanced my professional journey into the medical field as a Physician Assistant, and I am currently undertaking my clinical clerkship at LEKMA Hospital in Teshie. I am a dedicated PhD student in Food Science with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in Mathematics, Science, and English. I have extensive teaching experience across High School, college and undergraduate levels. I have a track record as a teaching assistant, and have supported university students in mastering complex concepts and enhancing their academic performance. My core strength lies in breaking down challenging material into clear, accessible explanations, often reinforced with practical, real-world examples. This approach not only improves comprehension but also builds student confidence and engagement. I am an enthusiastic tutor with a strong academic background in Nutrition and Food Science and currently pursuing an MPhil Food Science. I am passionate about helping students understand concepts clearly and confidently through interactive and personalized learning. With experience supporting students academically and leading educational initiatives, I focus on making lessons engaging, practical and easy to grasp while helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills, improve academically and build confidence in their abilities.

I am enrolled in the MPhil. Food Science programme at the University of Ghana. I also have a Bsc. Nutrition and Food Science degree from the same university. I went to Achimota Senior High School and did General Science. Maths and Physics are almost unavoidable in the path I have chosen. Most of my recent experience is in research, as I served research assistant positions during my internships and last at Ghana Atomic Energy Commision. However, I was a Junior High School (1 & 2) Teacher from 2017 to 2018. I handled a total of six classes with an approximate number of 300 students. I taught my students English Composition and English Comprehension. I believe my brief teaching experience coupled with my background in science are suitable for this position.
